Karlevy Oy supplied acoustic drapes for the historic Arvoholvi Bank Museum

Arvoholvi, an iconic building owned by the Parkano Savings Bank Foundation, has served as a bank since 1929. Today, this culturally significant landmark has been transformed into a bank museum, offering visitors a new way to experience the region’s economic history and architectural heritage.
Karlevy Oy delivered the acoustic drape (acoustic curtains) solutions for the museum spaces. The goal was to integrate the building’s original architecture with the requirements of a modern exhibition environment and to create a calm, controlled acoustic atmosphere that enhances both guided tours and the overall visitor experience.

Pagunette Plain Wool FR – acoustic drapes combining elegance and performance

The project features Pagunette Plain Wool FR acoustic drapes (acoustic curtains), made from high‑quality fire‑retardant wool fabric designed to soften and absorb sound effectively. The natural structure of wool disperses sound and reduces reverberation, improving speech clarity and acoustic comfort throughout the museum.
In addition to their acoustic function, the drapes bring visual warmth and refined elegance to the interior, blending seamlessly with the museum’s design and the building’s historical character.

Karlevy and Tero Saarinen Company

Tero Saarinen Company (TSC), a Finnish modern dance group founded in 1996, moved to a new facility 2020. Karlevy, together with TSC, Konto Acoustics and Genelec, worked to achieve perfection regarding the acoustics in the brand new rehearsal studio. The studio was installed with our acoustic curtains along with Konto’s acoustic panels and Genelec’s loudspeakers. As a result of hard work and dedication, the outcome was exactly what we imagined. Everyone at Tero Saarinen Company was extremely happy with the pleasant results of the sound environment achieved by this collaboration.

Habitare 2019

We were once again in Habitare. This time we were at Mareksound’s department. Mareksound is well known Finnish hifioperator who wants to have a good acoustic environment. Marek’s fair deparment was well placed at Habitare. Its stylish and good acoustics was created with ecologically sustainable Karlevy acoustic curtains and Konto Oy’s acoustic panels.
