To complement the ceiling’s natural fibre acoustic panels, the hall now features Karlevy’s acoustic curtains, crafted from premium Linara fabric. The curtains introduce both visual softness and effective sound absorption, creating a refined acoustic environment for concerts, celebrations and cultural events.

Acoustic Curtains Designed for Cultural Spaces

The high, resonant hall of Heimolinna benefits greatly from the curtains’ ability to reduce echo and soften the overall soundscape. Linara fabric was selected for its acoustic performance, elegant drape and timeless aesthetic, making it an ideal choice for a heritage venue where both technical function and visual harmony are essential.

The curtains:

  • reduce reverberation and improve speech clarity
  • add visual warmth and layered texture to the hall
  • blend seamlessly with Heimolinna’s architectural character
  • work in harmony with Konton’s natural fibre acoustic ceiling panels

Linara Fabric – Aesthetic and Technical Excellence

Linara’s dense yet soft weave provides natural sound absorption while maintaining a sophisticated, understated appearance. Its tactile quality and muted tones support Heimolinna’s interior without drawing attention away from the building’s historic features.

A Unified Acoustic Concept

Heimolinna’s acoustic upgrade is built on two complementary elements:

  • Konton natural fibre acoustic panels suspended as floating ceiling rafts

  • Karlevy acoustic curtains made from Linara fabric

Together, they create a balanced, natural and dignified acoustic environment suited for cultural events, ceremonies and performances.
